II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:

IVAR IKS intends to sign a contract with Solar Bioenergi AS for the procurement of steam for IVAR IKS' biogas plant at Grødaland in Hå Municipality. IVAR IKS needs an increased share of renewable energy for its biogas plant. At the same time, Solar Bioenergi, which is located on the neighbouring site, has excess energy that is not currently used, but lost. Solør Bioenergi can deliver up to 2/3 of IVAR's need for renewable energy.
The parties will establish infrastructure between the buildings in order to utilise the excess energy and expand energy production from Solar Bioenergi.
Assessments have been made as to whether there are other solutions that can solve the need for renewable energy in a similar seamless, climate friendly, and efficient way, without a need for major investments, and no other alternatives have been identified. IVAR IKS therefore sees Solar Bioenergi as the only relevant supplier for the requested service.
