Drammen Municipality intends to enter into a contract with ECIT for the operation and maintenance of network and security products until a new contest has been held. The municipality does not have the resources competence itself to undertake these assignments-

Work is currently being done on a contest that is scheduled to be announced in the first quarter of 2023. The plan is that a tenderer will be selected in the third quarter of 2023.

In the period from now until the future tenderer can take over the services, the municipality needs to ensure operational continuity. The municipality's assessment is that it is not realistic to ensure this in any other way than by procuring services from the current supplier, ECIT.
