The exhibition will focus on the significant manuscripts preserved by the institute which are part of the world cultural heritage (UNESCO). The exhibition also deals with the Icelandic language, its development, diversity, and status. There is great ambition for the exhibition and high hopes that it will be all at once, innovative, exciting, sophisticated, beautiful, and informative for visitors of all ages and different origin.
