THIS IS NOT A CONTEST, ONLY INFORMATION THAT A CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED.
The Institute of Marine Research (the Contracting Authority) would like to hire a trawl vessel or a combined ring net/trawl vessel for a period of 14 days to test measuring amounts of the spawning stock of Barents Sea capelin during spawning.
The goal is to get the best possible quantity measurements of the capelin spawn stock in the Barents Sea, in order to evaluate whether this can be included in advice.
The mission is mainly an acoustic trawl mission with acoustic measurements along pre-set course lines and pelagic trawling where there are registrations. See the requirements on an echo sounder in a false keel. In addition, measurements will be taken with sonar.
