Trondheim Bydrift will enter into an agreement for reception and recycling of sweeping material. The announcement of a market dialogue and subsequent dialogue with the market shows that there is only one supplier in the region that has the facilities and space to recycle sweeping material.

Trondheim municipality is responsible for the municipal roads in the city, and the municipality consumes several thousand tonnes of grit every winter. The material swept up in the spring and collected in temporary storage along with other material from street sweeping and material from sand traps. Trondheim municipality needs an agreement that ensures that this material is received at an authorised landfill site.
