The Partners for Water programme focuses on four pillars: policy partnership, implementation support, resilient cities, and the nexus water-biodiversity-food. As part of the MoU work plan 2023-2024, continuation of the policy partnership on beneficial use of dredged materials has been set as one of the priorities, on the specific request of the Colombian Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Environment and the National Planning Department. Building on increased attention and a desire to further improve the normative guidelines for dredged materials, this assignment focuses on policy- and technical advice on the beneficial use of marine dredged sediments for the application of nature-based solutions (NbS) in Colombia. The Tendering Authority has estimated a total contract value (including optional extension years) of EUR 220,000 (exclusive of Dutch VAT and including local VAT and fees, if applicable).
