Haugesund municipality intends to enter into a contract with Glamox for the delivery of fixtures with radio, ZigBee and DALI control. This decision is based on a strategic choice to standardise the lighting systems in the municipality. The municipality already has a high number of Glamox fittings installed and the aim of this procurement is to establish a uniform and efficient system, at the same time as reducing the number of different types of lighting equipment. By standardising Glamox fittings with radio, ZigBee and DALI control, Haugesund municipality expects to achieve the following advantages: • Simplified operation and maintenance through uniform control systems.• Reduction in the number of different lighting components, which provide better store management and simplifies replacement.• Improved energy efficiency and flexibility through advanced control technology.• Option to combine wireless systems (radio and ZigBee control) with cabled systems (DALI control). Optimal utilisation of the existing infrastructure, where a large number of the municipality ́s buildings are already equipped with Glamox technology. By continuing Glamox as a supplier, we avoid costly adaptations to new systems and we can benefit from compatibility and integration with existing systems. The standardisation of Glamox products is also motivated by the municipality ́s existing installations, with a large share already based on this technology. The procurement ́s value is estimated to: NOK 25,000,000 excluding VAT for the entire period. Maximum value for the entire contract period, including price rise: NOK 35,000,000 excluding VAT. The contract period is 6-10 years. This is a notice of intention to enter into a contract with Glamox without a prior competition, in accordance with the public procurement regulations § 13-4 b) no. 2. Planned contract signing: After the deadline for objections expires. Any objections to this intention must be submitted via Mercell within 10 days from the date of publication.
