The competition is for the establishment of a cloud system, as well as the overall delivery of IT operations and related services. A desired final state by 31.12.2026 is that Tønsberg municipality has a complete architecture that safeguards all services and assignments that a Norwegian municipality has, which i.a. includes the following: that the contracting authority has taken over responsibility for all services and systems that Jarlsberg IKT currently provides and performs for the municipality. SaaS is, to the greatest possible degree, that services such as networks, client and meeting room equipment, print, security management and backup are procured in the market as primarily a "service/as-a-service". the list is not necessarily exhaustive, so the idea is that the IT partner assists the municipality in fulfilling all of the municipality's needs. A desired final state by 31.12.2028 is that the entire software portfolio is cloud-based SaaS services where the contracting authority has management and follow-up responsibility, and where the municipality has established a good cooperation with suppliers and IT partners in service outsourced areas that have resulted in a robust organisation that is future orientated, innovative and financially optimal. The procurement ́s value is estimated to: Above the EEA threshold. The volume is an estimate and is not binding for the contracting authority. It is difficult to determine a more exact value, as the contracting authority ́s need for call-offs will vary. See the procurement documents for further information. The contracting authority reserves the right to make minor, not significant changes to this basis before tenderers are invited to submit a tender.
