The Health Service Executive (HSE) invited tenders from suitably qualified suppliers of secure email services for the development, implementation, hosting, deployment and support of a secure email & identity service for community-based services throughout the Irish Health Service. 'Healthmail' is to be implemented as a dedicated, secure and bounded Microsoft Office365 service hosted in a cloud environment and delivered to the HSE as a fully managed service. The Invitation to Tender document also indicated that the HSE also reserves the right to utilise the outcome of this tender process for future similar requirements across the HSE and HSE funded Hospitals and Agencies as required.
