Please do not respond to this notice. It is a Prior Information Notice only! This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to SEAI’s Community Enabling Framework and Community Benefit Fund Supports. SEAI intends to appoint suitably qualified and resourced, multi-disciplined consultants for the provision of a range of services to support communities and SEAI in the initial development phases of renewable energy generation projects for participation in support schemes such as the Small-Scale Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (SRESS) and to support SEAIs role in relation to Community Benefit Funds It is anticipated that the Multiple party framework agreement will be divided into 7 Lots for professional services, with four Lots being community focused, two Lots being SEAI focused and the remaining Lot being general consultancy support. Community focused lots include Trusted Advisor support services for grid connections, planning, renewable energy consultancy and finance and business planning. SEAI focused lots include support services for programme design and management, renewable energy development and infrastructure, policy, finance and routes to market. The final lot concerns general consultancy support on community benefit funds. The estimated total contract budget is approximately €1.5 million excluding VAT over all seven lots for the length of the contract (maximum of four years). The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. SEAI intends to publish this tender within the next 4 months and hold a Market Information Meeting in the coming weeks.
