Provence-Grand-Large SAS is developing Provence Grand Large (‘PGL’) Project, a floating offshore pilot wind farm in the south of France, near Port Saint-Louis du Rhône.Three Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (‘SGRE’) wind turbines up to 8,4MW will be installed on TLP-type Floating Sub-Structures supplied by a leading company of this expertise. Inter-array and export cables works will be performed by Prysmian. Those cables are part of the insurance coverage (grid connection only for construction phase).
Scope: Provide insurance coverage for the construction phase and minimum first year of operation of Provence Grand Large (PGL) offshore wind farm (approximately 3.5 years). PGL will underwrite a specific package insurance policy.
