II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:

Production of license plates is a basic prerequisite for being able to put vehicles into traffic. The production volume varies with economic cycles but is historically in the range of 1.1 – 1.3 million plates/year. The STA procures manufacturing according to a traditional concept where the supplier has an overall commitment, which means they own premises and production equipment. Before the upcoming procurement process, we want to investigate different options for the procurement. One alternative we would like to evaluate is that STA procures the manufacturing equipment in a turnkey solution. That means that the supplier should be responsible for setting up and providing all manufacturing equipment including consumables needed to start the production. Therefore, we need to know more about available equipment for automated and manual manufacturing of license
plates.
