Met Éireann plans to issue a Request for Tenders for the replacement of its satellite data reception and handling system. The supplier of the new satellite system would be required to provide and install required hardware and software, including replacement of the old system, commission the system and provide service options once operational. The capacity of the supplier to perform the replacement within a short time frame will be an important element. This is a Prior Information Notice only.
