The Agency for Development is responsible for the construction of new buildings and major renovation projects under the aegis of Bergen Municipality, and is one of Bergen's largest developers. The projects come under different categories of public buildings, and are of very varying scope and complexity.
The Agency for Development has, through its focus on reducing the climate footprint of building projects, also a large focus on reuse being a natural part of all our building projects. As part of this work, a pilot is being carried out with the goal of defining how Bergen Municipality can ensure good reuse projects through appropriate procurement processes. The Agency for Development will carry out a pilot for reuse through the U2900 Ytre Arna School project. The Agency would thus like a dialogue with the market on options within reuse and on concrete options for reuse for Ytre Arna School.
