The Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority's project organisation for the hospital projects in Oslo invites suppliers
to a market dialogue regarding a retaining wall on the site where the New Aker Hospital shall be constructed.
The New Aker hospital shall be in operation in 2031 with a large, new and future-oriented buildings
which shall provide a good local hospital service for the eastern districts of Oslo. The hospital
shall also provide a good service to patients with mental health issues and dependency for large parts of
Oslo.
The New Aker project involves a total development that is to be realised up until
the clinical operations start in 2031 in approx. 188,000 m2 gross area.
The retaining wall has two functions: the support of future terrain associated with PHA south which will be
higher than the current terrain, and the function as a foundation for the noise reduction screen along Dag
Hammarskjøldsvei. The new noise reduction screen is included in the contract. The current noise reduction screen
shall be demolished.
