Carmarthenshire County Council established a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on 9th November 2020 for an initial period of up to 4 years. The DPS will be operated on a fully electronic basis and is open to new entrants throughout its term who meet the minimum criteria specified in the tender documents.Contractors will be required to be suitably qualified and experienced to undertake works primarily associated with Highways, however the DPS will also provide for Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on housing sites, industrial estates, school and other sites located and owned within Carmarthenshire. Additionally, there may be the requirement for works to be undertaken on private land at the Council’s request and emergency tree felling works.
