The Norwegian Public Roads Administration aims to cut both direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from construction, operation and maintenance by 55% by 2030. The Operations and Maintenance Division accounts for a significant proportion of these emissions. We have therefore prepared a climate action plan for the division, outlining a number of measures that need to be adopted until 2030. The action plan is structured with a common section, with measures that we want to take for several of the division's contracts, which are then specified for each type of contract. We are now seeking input from the market in regards to this action plan. It will be revised at least annually, but the main features will be fixed once it has been adopted.
