The timely acquisition of properties at TenneT is a key factor for the success of the energy transition. The current expansion of the grid area through numerous grid expansion projects leads to increasing acquisitions processes and transaction volumes.
Due to the strong increase in demand for land in the upcoming years in the TenneT grid expansion projects and the scarce availability of suitable and available space, the volume and complexity of the orders relating to land acquisition and property management must be handled faster and more transparent. Furthermore, the management of existing assets and the acquisition of properties and easements are complex processes that involve a variety of administrative and commercial tasks.
Therefore, increasing demands for efficiency and accuracy require in future a modern software solution necessary to optimize these processes. One of the main requested objectives for TenneT is the development of an integrated software solution to efficiently map and monitor property management processes.
Needed is a modular, integrated, future-proof target solution that comprehensively and automatically maps the overall technical process of property management and its individual sub-processes, efficiently supports processing and documents it in a legally compliant and GDPR-compliant manner. User-friendliness and the traceability of the current status through a reporting overview should also be ensured. Digitalization and integrated system support should therefore significantly reduce the administrative and processing effort and create more capacity for negotiations and acquisitions.
