The MFA, Department for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) entered into a contract 31 March 2022 regarding implementation of the Youth Inclusion and Employment project of the Programme for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Jordan as well as a potential expansion of activities to Algeria.
The MFA wishes to purchase additional activities to ensure the achievement and enhancement of the agreed results, as included in the revised result framework, and to improve security for partners and subcontractors and has signed an addendum to the contract on 30 August 2024.
In 2023, the Consultant shall perform the following additional services and deliveries:
• Additional mobilisation of youth as this is one entry point of the project
• Provide life skills training/awareness training. Topics are similar across all countries but approaches differ
• Identifying capacity gaps in the selected youth groups/organisations and support them building their capacity
• Support the youth groups/organisations with their action plan for the year and where needed offer support them in taking the actions. In 2024, the Consultant shall perform the following additional services and deliveries:
• Additional mobilisation of youth as this is one entry point of the project
• Provide life skills training/awareness training. Topics are similar across all countries, but approaches differ

• Conduct the technical training. Topics vary between countries and partners.
• Establish formal and informal partnerships with the private sector to support employment/on-the-job-training matching, and thus provide opportunities for the beneficiaries.
• Organise job/intern fairs with some of the companies the partnerships were
established • In agreement with the Client, the Consortium has engaged with a new partner Melting Pot Foundation’ operating cooking school ‘Um Mami’ for young people to become cooks. In 2024, the Consultant shall perform the following additional services and deliveries: • Additional mobilisation of youth as this is another entry point of the project
