The EemsEnergyTerminal has been operational since the first gas delivery on 16 September 2022, and since successfully serviced more than 100 LNG vessels. The LNG import has contributed significantly to the gas supply of North western Europe. The quick development of EemsEnergyTerminal is seen as an important and successful project in Europe to become less reliable from Russian gas. Currently the LNG import contracts will end in the second half of 2027. In summer 2024 the shareholders of EemsEnergyTerminal published a market consultation on the EemsEnergyTerminal website (www.eemsenergyterminal.com) to gauge the interest for sustained imports at the Eemshaven port area after 2027. As a next step, EemsEnergyTerminal is assessing the infrastructure requirements for an extension. In this evaluation, we need to consider the FSRU needs for the terminal to be able to cater to future market demand. We are interested in making contact with FSRU owners/operators to discuss their interest in potentially providing one or more suitable vessel(s) from 2027. • Please note that no decision has been made regarding operation of the EemsEnergyTerminal beyond 2027 and that no award of FSRU contract(s) is a possibility Deadline for making contact with EemsEnergyTerminal is 18 October 2024.
