Rogaland County needs to implement the project County Road 450 Avalanche protection along Nedre Bergsvatnet. The work includes avalanche protection of the stretch along Nedre Bergsvatnet and the expansion of roads. The stretch is approx. 1.6 km and runs from Berge in the southwest to Lomeland in the northeast. The main step is to lay the road at a filling in Nedre Bergsvatnet and to establish a catch embankment on the current road. The purpose of the project is to secure the stretch along Bergsura against avalanches in the roadway.
