Straeto bs., Iceland’s capital area public bus company, is committed to transitioning its entire fleet to electric buses by 2030. Straeto bs. is owned by the municipalities in the capital area, Reykjavík, Kopavogur, Hafnarfjordur, Gardabaer, Mosfellsbaer and Seltjarnarnes. The company currently operates 24 electric buses, with plans to expand the fleet to 230 electric buses over the next several years. The company seeks comprehensive information from potential suppliers about charging infrastructure solutions, including hardware, installation and maintenance services, Charging as a Service (CaaS), and Charge Point Management Systems (CPMS) to facilitate this transition.
