This contract was awarded to Sigma Wireless Communications Ltd for the Provision and Maintenance of Storm Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System. A VEAT notice was published in this regard on 31st July 2024. This contract is for the provision of software associated with the STORM Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system which is in used in the East Region Communications Centre, Dublin Fire Brigade for the processing of emergency calls. The provision of software includes third party software and interfaces which are considered part of the STORM CAD system. Interfaces and supporting software included, blue GIS mapping, Compass address gazetteer to support STORM, Medical Priority Dispatch (ProQa) interface and supporting GD92 interfaces to support fire station mobilisation. The support ensures that software is supported in the event of faults or bugs identified or changes required to support changes in operational procedure.
