Marine utility gardens shall be established in Bærum municipality. The assignment includes seeking licences for relevant rules, testing and deciding on different types of benefit in accordance with different environmental conditions, e.g. salinity, as well as cultivation or procurement of relevant utility types. Contact shall be made with the public to make the utility gardens known, possibly contact with relevant actors in business. The utility gardens shall also be operated and potentially harvested/utilised, within the timeframe. The contracting authority has a budget of NOK 2,500,000 excluding VAT. The budget will run up to and including 2026. Approx. one third of the assignment is expected, and therefore invoicing, will take place in 2024.
