II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:
HUS Group (also "HUS" or "Contracting Authority") calls for tenders on platelet agitators and compatible incubators. Platelet agitators and incubators are used to storage and provide continuous agitation for the platelet products. In addition to the device itself, the procurement includes training, technical support, and other related services for the device as noted in detail in this call for tenders and in its attachments.
The supplies are needed in HUS Diagnostic Center´s Blood Banks. There are currently nine (9) Blood Banks. The Blood Banks locate currently around Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso and South Karelia. The amount of Blood Banks may increase or decrease, and the locations may change in the future.
The estimated number of devices to be ordered is about 2-4 per year. During the framework agreement, a maximum of 16 devices may be ordered through the the agreement. The need may vary during the contract period. During the first two (2) contract years, the number of devices to be ordered may be even lower, as the need for new devices also depends, among other factors, on the lifespan of the current or replaceable devices. The estimation of procurement quantities presented in the call for tender are estimations and are not binding on the contracting authority.
The procurement will be implemented as a framework agreement. The contracting period for the framework agreement is four (4) years.
