Contract signing The Follow-up Measure Individual Job Support (IPS) for persons who need more comprehensive follow-up assistance than the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration can offer. Individual Job Support (IPS) shall provide assistance with the aim of participants obtaining and/or retaining paid work or coming into education. The aim is that participants shall as far as possible be self-supported with a stable connection to working life. The aim of the initiative is to assist persons with mental health and substance abuse challenges out in/back to work on wages in the ordinary labour market. Individual Placement and Support/Individual Job Support (IPS) is to be given integrated with health care treatment. The service shall be provided by an IPS team consisting of job specialists as well as a method supervisor. The service is organised as a cooperation with The District Psychiatric Centres (DPS) in Drammen.
