Short description: Oslo University Hospital HF, Norway invites to a market dialogue, in which we require a demonstration of a smart communication system between a coordinating surgical nurse and two surgical nurses dressed sterilely and situated in two different surgical operation rooms. In the first round, we request a market dialogue to map out the technical equipment that is available. Included in this first round and after the market dialogue, we plan to try out the technical equipment during ongoing clinical surgical interventions and procedures. The need for testing will be over a period of four months. Full description: In connection with a research project at the Intervention Center, Oslo University Hospital HF, Norway, the plan is to test a communication system in which two people, independently of each other, are able to communicate with a third person in a surgical department during ongoing surgical interventions and procedures. These people are surgical nurses who are dressed sterilely in the surgical operating field in their respective operating rooms, room A and room B. The surgical nurses shall be able to communicate independently of each other with a third surgical nurse (coordinating surgical nurse) who will provide assistance between these two operating rooms depending on the need for help that is communicated via the communication equipment. The coordinating surgical nurse is not dressed sterilely and can move freely between these two operating rooms. See Attachment 1 for further information, the arrows on figure 1 indicate the direction of the communication in question. The communication is intended to take place using earplugs or "headsets". This equipment must be comfortable to wear over time, i.e. up to five hours and preferably be wireless. The conversations are supposed to be initiated using speech or other suitable additional equipment. However, it is important to emphasize that other additional equipment in addition to earplugs or "headsets", which are to be used by a sterile dressed surgical nurse, must be wrapped in sterile plastic and be easy to operate for a sterile dressed surgical nurse. Communication will have to take place via an encrypted channel. The range of the equipment must be at least 500 meters. It must be possible to clean and disinfect the equipment after use. Oslo University Hospital HF, Norway invites you to a non-binding physical market dialogue in Oslo, Thursday, January 30, 2025. The deadline for expressing interest in the market dialogue via Mercell is Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 12:00. Immediately after expressing interest on January 16, Oslo University Hospital HF will make an assessment and invite potentially suitable stakeholders. Please note that no answers to questions can be expected in the period from December 13, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
