NB THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD! The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research (the Contracting Authority) wishes to hire a coastalnot vessel/ringnot vessel for marking and biological sample taking of NVG herring for approx. 20 days. The period is initially November/December, but if there is no herring that overwinters in the fjords then it may be necessary to move to after spawning in April. The contract will be valid for 1 year from 01.01.2025 until and including 31.12.2025, with an option for an extension for one year. The vessel must have a quota for herring for the expedition. The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research reserves the right to inspect the vessel and check the relevant documentation before signing the contract and before the start of the expedition.
