The Defence Forces Logistics Command (later referred to as Contracting Entity) requests a participation application M2&GMG combination soft mounts in accordance with this participation application request and its appendices. This document intends to define a soft mount and related components needed to complement the existing Finnish 12,7 RSKK 2005 (FN M2Hb) and 40 KRKK 2005/2005M (H&K GMG FIN/GMG-C/GMG-E) systems. The components needed for the system are specified in this statement of requirements. Following components needs to be fully compatible with the FN M2Hb, H&K GMG-FIN, H&K GMG-E and H&K GMG-C weapons: - MG soft mount for FN M2Hb, H&K GMG-FIN, H&K GMG-E and H&K GMG-C - Cartridge and link collection - Optic bracket and trigger kit for FN M2Hb - Optic bracket and trigger kit for H&K GMG-FIN, H&K GMG-E and H&K GMG-C - Ammunition holder for M2A1 ammobox and PA120 ammobox The Tenderer shall deliver 41 pieces of the above mentioned soft mounts with the above mentioned components by 30.04.2026 at the latest. Maintenance equipment The Tenderer shall deliver spare parts for 5 years of operation for 41 soft mounts by 30.04.2026 at the latest. Maintenance options The Tenderer shall deliver an offer for an option of 145 pieces of the above mentioned soft mounts with the above mentioned components. The Tenderer shall deliver an offer for an option of 5 pieces of the above mentioned soft mounts with the above mentioned components. Spare parts for option of 145 soft mounts The Tenderer shall deliver an offer for an option of spare parts for 5 years of operation for 145 soft mounts as an option. Spare parts for option of 5 soft mounts The Tenderer shall deliver an offer for an option of spare parts for 5 years of operation for 5 soft mounts as an option. The potential combination soft mounts will be tested in Finland in April 2025. The Tenderer shall deliver all potential units for free of charge. The Tenderer shall deliver a compatibility statement for the softmounts that takes into account mechanical compatibility and the stresses caused by fully automatic firing with the weapons mentioned above. The Tenderer shall pick-up the tested units back after the tests.
