DG TRAD of the European Parliament needs to launch this call for tenders in order to replace the current contracts which expire on 31 December 2024 at the latest. This call for tenders will cover both monolingual and multilingual source documents. The new contracts will replace the current framework contracts for the 24 EU languages, in order to have a list of one main contractor and up to four secondary contractors per lot with an obligation to accept and translate a defined minimum volume of pages per day of documents from: (i) for the English lot: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish, (ii) for the French lot: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish, (iii) for the German lot: English, French, Italian and Spanish, (iv) for the Italian lot: English, French, German and Spanish, (v) for the Spanish lot: English, French, German and Italian, (vi) for the Irish lot: English, (vii) for all the other lots: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The call for tenders will be launched as an interinstitutional procurement procedure involving also the European Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Committee of the Regions.
