One Lot for: (a 5+2+1 years contract ) Distributed caching software solution (Elia Group is currently using Redis software) The main purpose is to provide a fast and cost effective way of accessing frequently used data . It should support all applications that use this solution in Production at Elia Group Evaluation criteria (still under review): • Support of advanced data structures • When deployed as a cluster, supports sharing and repartitioning for maximum • horizontal scalability and replication for high availability • Available as a cloud managed solution by the top cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP) • The solution should force the use of one caching pattern and is single threaded • Support/SLA Knock Out Exclusion Criteria • Technology for storing session information to reduce database queries • Technology to handle up to 500,000 SET and GET operations per second on a single CPU core • Technology for real time applications that require low latency (in the range of sub milliseconds to a few milliseconds) and a throughput of more then 1000000 q/s for 1000 byte queries. • Integration via client libraries in programming languages (.Net integration is mandatory) • Compliance with IT Security Requirements & SaaS Requirements • Maintenance and support contract should be included in the proposal
