II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:
The overarching objective of the Framework Contract (FWC) is to support EU Member States in ensuring accessibility and availability of civilian transport infrastructure for military platforms. To this end, the FWC should identify gaps and deficits in logistical capacity related to military transport needs, as well as procedural aspects related to military transport in various dimensions, mapping the current situation and providing EU Member States with information that would serve to improve their Military Mobility capabilities. Moreover, this knowledge will ultimately enable the Agency to propose relevant and concrete actions which will enhance Military Mobility related capability development activities.
The overarching objective of the FWC will be achieved through specific contracts (SCs) in the various distinct areas related to logistic capacity, including but not limited to:
• Landscaping of capability gaps in logistic capacity for the different forms of transportation (land, air, sea, inland water ways);
• Landscaping the legislative framework applicable to movement of military assets;
• Assessing the potential for improving the above mentioned capacity;
• Providing recommendations for future activities on improved accessibility of civilian transport infrastructure for military purposes.
