    II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:

Continuous, low maintenance, automated seawater flow through imaging and analyses system to quantify microscopic marine life in the size range from ca. 100µm to 20mm. We aim to purchase a new camera system, which is continuously imaging marine life (100µm to 20mm) and analyses species information as well as records individual sizes, which is needed for species-specific biomass estimations. Specifics: In situ imaging system that is connected to a continuous seawater flow through, installed either at sea on a research vessel or in a coastal laboratory. The imaging system should automatically, without large maintenance, process large water volumes with >0.56L sec-1 (or 2 m3 h-1) continuously. The instrument should include a housing for the imaging system itself, as well as its pumping and data processing parts. Hoses to connect to the water flow through system should be included to secure an easy connect to any available flow through system available. Cables and installations to connect to the data processing computer as well as associated software to capture and process the generated images, with an already existing and trained image library for the North Sea area to facilitate automated image processing without further developments is expected. This automated and read to be used continuous image analyses software is expected to return the species identification of plankton organisms in the North Sea as well as calculate its biomass to allowing for an automated high throughput data processing. Delivery date: As soon as possible.
