The A5 Western Transport Corridor (A5 WTC) project is for the design and construction of over 80km of dual carriageway from New Buildings to Aughnacloy via Strabane and Omagh. The A5 WTC was divided into three Lots for tendering purposes. Each Lot corresponded to a geographical Section of the project. The VEAT relates to the modification of Section 3 (formerly Lot 3) which is the Section from the South of Omagh to Aughnacloy.
