Potential suppliers of digital translation tools for translation of health language are invited to respond to a market survey (RFI - Request for Information). We would like information about systems in the market where speech-to-speech and real-time translations are used. The system shall not replace interpreters, but it shall be used to translate simple dialogue between health personnel and patients when interpreters are not available. Equivalent system, without real time translation, is in daily use at hospitals in Helse Sør-Øst. The existing framework agreement expires in June 2026. A decision has not been made on the implementation of a procurement at the present time. The deadline for responding is Monday 5 May (10:00) Attached, further information is available.
