The Hospital Innlandet Health Trust intends to enter into a contract with Siemens Healthcare for the procurement of a nefelometer, as well as a framework agreement for the delivery of associated equipment dependant consumables and service after the guarantee period has expired. The need that the instrument shall cover concerns analyses of proteins in serum, where nefelometry is assessed as the most appropriate analysis principle based on requirements for sensitivity and specificity. The instrument that shall be procured is a replacement for BNProspec, which shall be replaced due to advanced age. The contracts are intended to cover the company ́s need for the expected lifetime of the equipment, which is minimum 10 years.
