The Flow Physics and Technology Department of TU Delft is growing and strongly expanding its experimental capabilities. In the context of two recently awarded ERC Consolidator Projects (MetaWing, PI: M. Kotsonis and MORASINA, PI: D. Ragni) research activities will require execution of experiments with high-speed cameras to investigate complex flow dynamics at high-resolution to accurately measure in time different length scales.
With the increasing number of experiments within the Aerodynamics, FPP, and WE sections, the availability of high-speed cameras is often constraining the possibility of carrying out simultaneous high-speed imaging experiments in the High-Speed Lab (HSL) and the Low-Speed Lab (LSL). In addition, current high-speed capabilities are limited by the availability of laser light at high speed, to have accurate measurements.
