The aim of the procurement is to cover the Norwegian Armed Forces need for assembly material, including brackets. The assembly material shall be used for the integration of K2IS material (radio, computer equipment, intercom, GPS, chargers and similar types of communication material) as well as weapons in the Norwegian Armed Forces vehicle. The list is not exhaustive. The procurement shall cover all types of brackets for assembly of materials that it will be natural to install in all military vehicles, including combat vehicles, trucks, tracked vehicles, terrain vehicles and MB field vehicles. Furthermore, the framework agreement includes the possibility of ordering integration jobs on military vehicles and preparing prototypes of assembly material with drawing basis, including report on force calculations of the prototypes. The framework agreement also gives the Contracting Authority the basis for ordering alterations of MB 300 communication vehicles to MB 300 KO wagons in accordance with the Norwegian Armed Forces drawings. The objective of the procurement shall be covered through: Serial production of assembly material in accordance with the Norwegian Armed Forces drawings. The prototypes that are approved shall be able to be serial produced- Assembly of the assembly material in the Norwegian Armed Forces vehicles.- Alterations to MB 300 vehicles. The contract will mainly not be used for deliveries to new military vehicles, as these are delivered ready equipped with the necessary assembly material.
