Salsnes filter was a supplier of process equipment for four of Tromsø municipality ́s treatment plants, which were built in the period from 2004 to 2009. Tromsø municipality, water and sewage has serviced itself, but no longer has the capacity to carry out the service itself. The need for service and maintenance increases and is important in order to avoid longer stoppages which can lead to urenset sewage water flowing into the sea. This will result in breaches of the Pollution Act.
