The BEC's current slag removal system, also known as the "plate conveyor slag remover," has reached the end of its service life.
The casing is severely outdated due to process conditions and exhibits significant degradation. Furthermore, the existing maintenance concept no longer meets current operational and technical requirements.
For these reasons, the decision was made to completely replace the plate conveyor system with a sustainable and maintenance-friendly alternative.
