II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:
The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Supply and Delivery of School Journals and Diaries in the English and Irish language depending on the ETB’s requirements. In the case of a multi-party framework agreement, contracts will be awarded in accordance with the process outlined herein. It is emphasised that a framework agreement constitutes no guarantee to purchase a specific quantity of supplies or services from a particular economic operator. Indeed, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to operate outside of the framework agreement at its discretion, particularly should it become apparent that doing so would offer greater value for money. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the framework agreement approach has been adopted to leverage efficiencies and maximise cost savings over the duration of the framework. The Contracting Authority seek printing service providers committed to reducing environmental impact while delivering high-quality diaries and journals. Ideal partners will utilise eco-friendly materials such as recycled or FSC-certified paper or equivalent, and sustainable binding options. Production processes should prioritise energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon-neutral operations. Proposals should include details on sustainable sourcing, certifications, and innovative solutions to minimise environmental footprint while maintaining durability, aesthetics, and functionality. This public procurement competition will be divided into 9 lots (each a “Lot”) as described below. Each Lot will result in a separate contract. This competition is spilt into nine (9) Lots as follows: • Lot 1: Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) • Lot 2: Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB) • Lot 3: Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB) • Lot 4: Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) • Lot 5: City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) • Lot 6: Cork Education and Training Board (CETB) • Lot 7: Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board Region (DDLETB) • Lot 8: Kerry Education and Training Board (KETB) • Lot 9: Other ETBs
